The Hilde Kirsch Children’s Center (HKCC) at the CG Jung Institute of Los Angeles is offering a meeting for parents and caregivers. Please join HKCC Director, Elizabeth Schofield-Bickford, MFT, Dr. Gita Morena and Dr. Lori Sortino as we gather to learn and discuss about how to be with yourselves and your children in these very troubling times.
In this session we will discuss:
- How children experience trauma differently than adults.
- What behaviors are normal expressions of trauma and what are not.
- How to engage a child in a “conversation” about what’s going on for them.
- How a parent/caregiver can support their child or a child they care for.
- How a parent/caregiver can support their own inner traumatized child.
- When to get help.
