The C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles is happy to announce the reopening of its bookstore, administrative offices, in-person clinic, and the Max and Lore Zeller Library.
Visitors will need to provide proof of vaccination and/or mask while inside the building. We look forward to seeing you!
The community of the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles wishes to express its grief and outrage at the killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and countless others who have lost their lives in the carnage wrought by systemic oppression and injustice. We in our community are committed to listening, learning, and endeavoring to understand our own part in the brutal shadow of these collective currents.
We support the movement to uncover and challenge systemic racism and commit to exploring the ways in which unconscious racism and its psychological and sociocultural underpinnings play out within our own Institute. We are committed, as well, to contributing to a greater understanding of how these forces corrode the larger communities in which we exist: our city, our country, and our world.
Welcome to the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles
Located in West Los Angeles, we are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, devoted to and rooted in the work of Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung. Jung’s ideas, and their connection in our time to art, science and spirituality, as well as to psychology, are the basis of our broad range of public offerings, including lectures and seminars, a quarterly magazine, Psychological Perspectives, a film series, Remembering Jung. In addition, we maintain clinics for adult and child therapy and a program of professional training for Jungian analysts and psychotherapists. Our library and bookstore carry a broad range of books, articles and CDs and DVDs on Jung’s works and related subjects, some of which are available online. And, of course, we welcome you to visit the Institute, bring questions, enjoy our garden/patio, and browse in the Library/Bookstore.
