DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, April 6\, from 11am-1pm PST on Zoom \nThe zoom will be emailed to participants a couple days before the program. \nThe Hilde Kirsch Children’s Center (HKCC) at the CG Jung Institute of Los Angeles is offering a meeting for parents and caregivers. Please join HKCC Director\, Elizabeth Schofield-Bickford\, MFT\, Dr. Gita Morena and Dr. Lori Sortino as we gather to learn and discuss about how to be with yourselves and your children in these very troubling times. \nIn this session we will discuss: \n\nHow children experience trauma differently than adults.\nWhat behaviors are normal expressions of trauma and what are not.\nHow to engage a child in a “conversation” about what’s going on for them.\nHow a parent/caregiver can support their child or a child they care for.\nHow a parent/caregiver can support their own inner traumatized child.\nWhen to get help.
