Presented by Christopher Miller, Ph.D.
Prior to last year’s presidential election, the word narcissism frequently was used in descriptions of the character of one party candidate in particular. What the election revealed, however, is the collective narcissistic injury experienced by both the Left and Right sides of the political spectrum.
The present talk discusses this injury and how we might go about healing it.
Christopher Miller, Ph.D., serves as adjunct faculty in the MA Counseling Program at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, CA. His blog on film, depth psychology, and culture is available at www.mythfire.com.
