Event Navigation
Presented by JoAnn Damron-Rodriguez, LCSW, Ph.D.
Limited Enrollment.
In this series we will explore Jung’s assertion that in the first half of life the question is: “What does the world ask of me?” In the second half of life the question is “What now does the soul, self, ask of me?” This study group will explore this big question through multiple approaches including discussion, reflection on short readings, dream presentations as they arise and the creation of visual images using collage. The sessions will encompass the body and the spirit of aging; the vitality of late life as well as approaching the end of life. Please bring lunch/snack for working breaks.
JoAnn Damron-Rodriguez, L.C.S.W., Ph.D. recently retired from the Department of Social Welfare, at the University of California, Los Angeles. She was awarded UCLA’s highest commendation for education, the Distinguished Teaching Award. She is a Fellow of the Gerontology Society of America. She has presented nationally and internationally on psycho-social aspects of aging and now focuses her attention on creativity and aging.
