Presented by Claudia Morelli Gadotti
Jung’s concept of the archetypal feminine can be found in many forms and iterations as evidenced by numerous myths and fairytales. In this lecture we will examine the four stages of eroticism in the anima as described by Jung (Vol. 6, para. 361), as revisioned by several post-Jungian authors, and consider its applicability to our times.
Learning objectives:
- Describe the archetype of the anima in C.G. Jung’s theory.
- Discuss the changes of Jung’s concept of the archetypal feminine in the modern world.
