I have been a Jungian Analyst for over 35 years, also a founder member of Sandplay Therapists of America as well as a certified member of the International Association of Sandplay Therapy.

My special interest on which I have lectured nationally and internationally is on the use of sandplay in an analytic experience making connections between archetypal and personal material in the therapeutic setting. I have often found that in the sacred space of the sandplay experience, my clients are able to find the guidance to their inner resources leading to more space, meaning and balance in their lives.  It has been my experience that the use of sandplay can help reach a deeper understanding of ourselves and discover our own potential from within ourselves.

I am currently on the teaching faculty of the Jung Institute of Los Angeles, and have served in the past as Director of the Hilde Kirsch Children’s Center.  I have co-authored two books with Rie Rogers Mitchell: Sandplay: Past, Present and Future (Routledge, 1994) and Supervision of Sandplay Therapy (Routledge, 2007).
