Michael Gellert, MA, LCSW

Michael Gellert is former Director of Training of the C. G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles, where he currently serves as a research instructor.  Practicing in Los Angeles and Pasadena, he sees individuals and couples and offers a Jungian Writing Workshop.  The author of Modern Mysticism, The Fate of America, The Way of the Small, and The Divine Mind, he taught humanities at Vanier College, Montreal, and religious studies at the City University of New York.  He supervised a mental health program for employees of the City of New York and has been a consultant to the University of Southern California and Time magazine.  He has lived in Japan, where he trained with a Zen master.
