Description

In his work on the aesthetics of nature Wilson found that he had to acknowledge the transcendent aspect of matter and its relationship to the nature of mind and the purpose of evolution.

What came from many years of work and books on these subjects was replicate field theory.

This universal wholistic approach is referenced to the new physics and cosmologies. From there it goes on to examine the bridging importance of the surreal, and of spontaneity in the development of art and consciousness. It leads up to the crux of the replicate field theory – that there may be a universal consciousness which is developing from the feedback here and on any other planet congenial to life.

This interplay of art, science and cosmology has resonances from Einstein and Wheeler to Jung and Freud combined in artistic eloquence. It makes natural connections across our many schisms – between consciousness, perception and actions. Most of all it shows human life to be a meaningful and integral part of the work of creation.
