About the Author:Burleson received both the M.A. (1982) and Ph.D. (1986) degrees in Religion from Baylor University where he studied World Religions. Burleson first began teaching in the Department of Religion in 1985 as a graduate student. Appointed Senior Lecturer in Religion in 2000, he has taught world religions, biblical studies, African studies, sports ethics, and Swahili. He has given public lectures and presented academic papers on Jungian studies in America, Europe, and Africa. He is a member of the International Association of Jungian Studies, founding board member of the Society for the Friends of Jung in Waco, and member of the advisory board of Spring Journal.
