This elective seminar will explore the erotic transference and its incestuous roots through the lens of Robert Stein’s work Incest and Human Love, now titled The Betrayal of the Soul in Psychotherapy, Jung’s The Psychology of the Transference, and the presentation and discussion of extensive clinical case material. A portion of Stein’s book will be made available to participants to be read prior to the seminar.

This seminar is designed to help you:
- Evaluate perspectives regarding the role of the incest taboo in the psychological development of the individual.

- Discuss clinical case material in light of perspectives regarding the role of the incest taboo in the psychological development of the Individual
